  1. When the dews finally come, so will the rains.
  2. Cool. The sloppy phases and saggy double boob events was irritating. I don’t know if it was Tippy’s HC or a function of enso that caused it but I’d like to fire some juice up from the equator, and play with fire.
  3. Course TBD but most likely in NECT.
  4. Another beautiful coc filled weekend on tap.
  5. I’m kinda over ninas at this point though. Would like a solid southern jet to enhance things for a change.
  6. I used to play Richter often when I lived in Danbury, before kids. My ‘home’ track is Oxford Greens in Oxford now. It’s a tough sob too. But I don’t mind driving two hours to play a good new course especially with you guys.
  7. “It’s important to understand the most common underlying factors that lead to violence: untreated anger, family violence, past history of violent acts, growing up where violence is used, and being young and male. To be clear, anger is not a mental illness. Hatred of others is not a mental illness. Wasting time pointing to mental illness doesn’t get us closer as a nation to solving the gun violence epidemic, and doing so leads to discrimination and stigma against those with mental illness — who are more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators. Other countries with similar percentages of people with mental illness in their populations don’t see the same level of mass gun violence that we do in the U.S. In 1996, a massacre in Scotland killed 16 students and one teacher. The United Kingdom took legislative action, and 23 years later, all forms of gun violence have significantly dropped. In stark contrast, America has more guns and more guns per capita than any other nation. With 120 civilian firearms for every 100 people, the United States more than doubles the next country in line.“
  8. Mental health struggles are all around the world though. Mass shootings are the result of easy access to guns, which is the only thing America is number 1 in. Mental health and mass shootings are not directly correlated. https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/mental-health/stop-conflating-mass-shootings-with-mental-illness/?amp=1
  9. I always prefer teeing off in the afternoon as well.
  10. We’re roughly 2 weeks away from peak climo too so any sustained big heaters need to start showing up on guidance by then.
  11. Lol. Coc is dynamic. It’s not just 68/35 all year around. Warmth with low dews that feels great on the body and mind…regardless of season.
  12. So we have 3 definites and 3 maybe’s so far for the 17th at a course tbd in NECT. Likely CT National or Thompson Raceway. Yes: me, Ken, davisstraight Maybe, modfan, mrreaves, Chris (late tee of only) We’ll let this marinate into the weekend so more folks can chime in.
  13. If we pick the 17th, tee time is still tbd. also, we if we get into a rhythm with these it won’t be the last golf gtg.
  14. Yea. Congrats everyone and enjoy the 4th. Although we have yet to realize America’s full potential, citizens are more active then ever…striving for civil liberty and justice for all. We’ll get there, someday.
  15. 83/51 here with bright blue skies for July is money in the bank though. Can’t beat it.
  16. COCed for the 4th weekend. Congrats everyone.
