    Blame the rush to divert money away from coal and gas to wind and solar... Wind and solar won't help much in the times.

    I thought all the precip had moved on. Woke up to some snow and it's still coming down... Nothing on radar.

    Still just rain here south of Huntsville. It's really tapered off... Just a drizzle now. To my west, monte sano and green mountain are holding the ice from coming over into Owens Cross Roads. That little ridge usually servers to protect this valley... Here's hoping that it continues to protect us from the ice. Temp has gone up slightly from where it was around 1pm.

    Raining pretty hard for last 30 minutes here. Seems to be clearing letting up a little. Wind picking up. Temp has dropped a few degrees.

    About to start here, south of Huntsville. Moving at the speed of an olympic turtle.

    Sweetpea, I'm just southeast of huntsville in Owens Cross Roads. Looking like most of this is staying just west of us, which is fine with me. I don't mind snow, but I don't want anything to do with ice. Are you thinking the same?
