  1. Anyone else seen the preview for the new movie "Pressure"? Looks like it was made just for weather weenies like us.
  2. While I am digging the idea of what is to come for our area, I am mindful of how devastating this is going to be for our southern neighbors. And not to get political, but this will be the first real test of FEMA after all the changes that came last year. Let's hope they are up to the task.
  3. I know everyone is stressed. I get it. We're 36 hours out and prime time for the rug pull. But don't worry folks. My snow shovel broke last year and my wife was adamant that I walk down to the hardware store this afternoon to get one. I said no dear, totally not needed. You're welcome.
  4. Towson checking in. Light snow and no rain and it's been going for over an hour now so a light coating on everything. For reference I'm about a half-mile south of the Towson University Mesonet site.
  5. Was at a concert last night and the moon was spectacular looking.
  6. Train is running right over Towson. I live a half mile from the TU station and can confirm the totals based on my flooded street.
  7. I'd just be happy to see them draft a pitcher or two. I know there's a higher chance of busts there, but we haven't picked a pitcher in the 1st round in 7 years. The unicorns you speak of are few and far between and will come with hefty price tags and, last I checked, we currently have exactly 1 Top 100 prospect right now pending trade deadline pickups.
  8. .86" just now at Towson U according to Mesonet, it came and went in all of 20 minutes.
  9. It's a little too early in the day for rain. It's a nice respite, but once this passes and the sun comes back out it's gonna be a hellish sauna out here.
  10. Oof, didn't think about the hikers on the AT. Those people went through a heck of a ride last night.
  11. Growing up on the Gulf Coast, I noted a few times in my head yesterday that the low clouds and quick movement of the lower layers looked very tropical in nature. Have not been outside today to see if it's the same as yesterday.
