What are you even on about? I'm saying the snow is light and fluffy where I thought it would be wet snow because it's not that cold. Calm down, holy crap. Consistency of the snowflakes. Take a break.

33 light snow, south-western Suffolk. No stickage to sidewalks or street yet.

I wish I remembered that storm. I was 6 and my father had just died. I don’t remember anything from the years around that event. But I hear 96 get brought up constantly and it drives me nuts! Anywho, on topic, snow is sticking to everything but roads in south-western Suffolk county at this hour.

Ah here we go, expecting a lot of these posts even when accumulating snow for some areas isn’t forecast until late afternoon/evening.

If some of this verifies for LI, I hope my job is kind. When Nemo hit, my street didn’t get plowed for almost 48 hours after the snow stopped.

Yeah, my landscaper does snow removal in the winter. He's been a lifesaver.

I actually dated the niece of a prominent LI met. He hates inclement weather, legitimately told me so. I lost respect for him at that dinner.

Yeah, my district absolutely cares. They don't have a problem using snowdays when necessary, but they absolutely will take away school vacation days or add on days at the end of June to meet the criteria. As of now, I'm 100% calling for a snow day for my school Monday, and probably a 2 hour delay on Tuesday.

I must be easily satisfied. Low end warning snows are big storms for me, especially with our winters lately. I don't need historic for it to be big.
