  2. ya we can hope for one last good event.. its nice to see all 3 have it at 0z so far..

  5. some gust around here have been pretty strong I'm surprised there's no advisory up
  6. Most spots are bare except some spots in the woods and spots that don't receive alot of sunlight
  7. Went for a hike down the road at lake Dennison this afternoon.. still some good snow in spots

  10. @weatherwiz I go by in the Saturn with the hazards on at the one minute mark.. after this I flew to the I291 on ramp and watched it go through downtown
  11. ya pretty wild.. only reason I saw the Springfield tornado was because I was coming back from chasing that Northampton storm and happened to be at the right place at the right time.. I didn't even know about it until a few minutes before it crossed in front of me.. but the sky did look crazy..
  12. I'll only like it if we get a big severe weather event.. which is rare around here.. Hoping to see another tornado this year.

  16. ...20z Update... Dangerous tornado outbreak is ongoing and expected to continue this evening over the Southeast. The main change for the 20z outlook was to expand the categorical High Risk a bit over southwestern AL and southern MS, and trim out the severe areas west. A squadron of intense tornadic supercells will continue east/northeast over eastern MS, and much of western AL this afternoon and into the evening. The strongest low-level theta-E advection is occurring across southeastern MS and west/southwestern AL. Strong ascent and intense low-level shear from a 60-70 kt low-level jet should continue to focus a nearly optimal supercell/tornado environment over this area through this evening.
