  1. 12z GFS and CMC are pretty for apart at 36 hours. Models can't even resolve where it will be in the short term
  2. That left hook is real ICON and EURO should get credit for that
  3. And then came that one event.. thinking how I should tell my grandkids someday about Teddy
  4. 6z ICON might have been a good hit if it went beyond 120
  5. We wait for recon.. 0z tonight should bring a little light anyways.. no matter what happens still fun to track
  6. You can look at it at 9pm on weathernerds.. might be past your bedtime though?
  7. We watch! Dry weather is on tap this weekend, but there is more uncertainty early next week. The GFS/GGEM keep us dry, but the upper level pattern on the ECMWF becomes amplified enough to pull some of the rain and wind from Hurricane Teddy into southern New England. We will keep that at a low probability at this point, but something will need to watch.
  8. Tonight's runs will be interesting.. last night they shifted east curious to see if they do the same tonight.. or if we can trend west more
  9. Eric Webb @webberweather · 38m Level 3: There's enough uncertainty in the mid-latitude wave guide in the medium range that areas even as far west as New England have to keep a close eye on this imo. If the wavelengths shorten & wave amplitudes increase a bit more + #Teddy ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time...
  10. I think the CMC would have been the same if it didnt try to develop something off the southeast coast to nudge it away
  11. Was just going to post the ICON. Epic disaster if that happens
