  1. Strong to Damaging Winds... A very powerful southerly LLJ will develop, peaking about 5 standard deviations above normal. Winds at 925 mb peak about 60-80 kt, which is not that common this time of year. Converted the High Wind Watches to High Wind Warnings and Wind Advisories. The southerly wind direction complicates things greatly. Questions remain on the depth of the mixed layer farther inland, as well as the impact of friction knocking down wind speeds as well. Have the greatest confidence in high winds across southern RI into eastern MA, then north along the immediate east coast of MA. Much of the rest of southern New England converted to Wind Advisories. Further tweaks to headlines may come with later forecasts.

  6. Switched to heavy snow at home.. drove to Walmart in Gardner and still rain changed back to rain getting off rt 2.. now that's probably happens 1 out of a 1000 times
  7. looking at webcams and 15 miles north of here it snowing ugh so close
  8. temp dropped by 4 degrees in the last 45 minutes down to 38

  10. so close to the rain snow line today.. 18z RAP came in colder and gives me around 2 later on still thinking mostly a cold rain though

  13. We need a good line to come through.. hoping for the west trend and stronger low
  14. I think we need this to trend a bit further west for big winds here.. but the coast could rock
  15. Some models nothing here some 1 to 2.. just seems a bit warm now though
  16. Hoping we can get into the 60s wednesday.. if we're going to lose the snow it would be nice to get big winds
  17. lets rip this west.. strong winds would be fun and the snow will come back at some point

  19. 12z ICON is nice here for late tomorrow.. Nam looked a little warmer
