    Well at this point as I look across various media sources, weather apps, and maps posted here, I have seen anywhere from 0-6 inches of snow and 0-6 inches of ice for my area. So I’m very confident in my forecast.

    Would love to get a little something here in Hillsborough, but that rain/snow line is always west of predictions. I’ll say Greensboro will be a rain/snow mix, west of Greensboro a little snow, east of Greensboro all rain. Would love to be wrong.

    NWS for my region sounds like the only hope may be that temps don't rise as highly as expected on Saturday, so it takes less time to get cool enough on Sunday. Maybe something to keep an eye on for a few of us.

    Not quite cold enough for snow on Sunday, so we'll get a little cold rain. Then the next few days will have lows around 15 degrees. Oh, North Carolina winter!

    I give myself (in Hillsborough) about a 10% chance at measurable snow at this point. I'm far from an expert, but I listen well to the experts, and I'm hearing the same tune. Daytime event if there's much precip at all, warmer temps during the day and waiting till night for cold air to spill over the Apps. By then the precip is all but gone. Still hopeful for another system soon!

    I love to get excited, but no way I'll believe this until we're closer. Too many times I wake up the next morning and someone has posted: aaand it's gone! lol

    Anyone wanna bet that after this dry, cold spell we'll start to get some moisture moving through...and then it won't be cold enough?! A classic NC frustrating winter.
