  1. I’ll be up in Delaware county this November. We hike the creek that feeds the reservoir up there.
  2. Lots of trees in my neighborhood have been wilting and some already losing leaves. Major drought stress. We missed all the thunderstorms in my area. I’m honestly really worried. The .5 we got yesterday could have no way made it to the roots. Hoping the trees took water in from the leaves if that’s even a thing. I’m worried for them. We need a soaking rain and fast.
  3. Can’t imagine the .5 I got yesterday penetrated down to any roots. Drought lives on
  4. Not nearly enough on south shore. The blob missed us. not good for this drought
  5. Maybe nam and hrrr will meet in the middle and south shore gets in on that. Radar looking better.
  6. I mean the heavy stuff in jersey seems to be moving slowly to LI but that dry slot just south is worrying me
  7. It’s ok. Never needed these trees anyway
  8. Radar loop just south of LI drying up. Lol
  9. The heavy stuff over jersey has to make it over here
  10. I’m on the part of LI that had zero rain July and august. All the thunderstorms missed me the trees have massive drought stress and are wilting. Hoping this does it.
  11. I’d say 2” is a sure shot in SW Suffolk right now. Nice to see
  12. If south shore LI escapes this we are screwed
  13. Can’t remember the south shore ever being this bad. The trees are turning brown and wilting the past couple weeks in my neighborhood. Cannot be good.
  14. Can confirm I had close to 0 in august. Maybe a stray shower that was it.
  15. The just to the north has been my story all summer. I could hear the thunder and see the lightning two Fridays ago
  16. We are neighbors. Yup .5” the entire summer maybe
  17. nothing in my backyard this must be the airport just north of me? Even that not even a half inch
  18. Correct. All the storms missed me. One by just a mile or two lol.
  19. This rain can’t bust. I haven’t had measurable rain since sometime in July
  20. Think I’ve had .5” rain this summer. The trees are wilting in my neighborhood. This isn’t good all the thunderstorms and passing showers missed my town
  21. The drought sucks for obvious reasons. But I’m absolutely loving this warm and Sunny summer. We don’t get this often.
  22. I think farmingdale record high was 88 which was tied today. I have the MSN weather client on my desktop and it alerted me to that
