I thought we needed a negative NAO for good storms. That was a silly thought i guess.

Honestly. I don’t know. I was under a monster band all day. And the drifts are excessive so can’t get accurate measurement. I’d def say 20”. North babylon measured 18.5 and I’m in west babylon. Islip isn’t too far and measured 24.

Don’t kill me but, I like the weather channel naming winter storms. It’s a good point of reference. Why say Jan 3rd 2013 for example when you can say “winter storm Barbara”. Makes it easier to remember.

I easily have 3 and 4 foot drifts in my yard in Patchogue
Had to drive out to Medford to dig out a few family members, whos front door was buried. I'm sure the totals are in the 18-20+ range.   

Road conditions were rough, visibility was basically zero, lots of stuck vehicles. Plows were useless with this wind. 

How are you posting photos. I keep getting too large

I can’t give a proper measurement. Too much wind, blowing, drifting. If I was a betting man, we hit 20” in Babylon.
