  1. Is this for the Obs thread or are we reporting now time here?
  2. Didn't see video. Those are just the dates I always rely on to produce something, and for some strange reason they usually do. You are right around the corner from me, as I live in Shepard Hills golf course area near 222. Lets hope for about 4" today and night!
  3. For Ralph (Steve) whats up with this lull. Not good in my mind! whats going to happen in your mind?
  4. Albedoman - I grew up in the 50's, and what I remember most is almost every good snow storm had great winds behind it for good drifting. Doesn't happen anymore. I think there are certain times of winter where I have always looked for action. Maybe what you believe in. Mine are Dec 5-9, then Dec 19-24, then Jan 20-25. Feb 12-17, and Mar 5-9th. Seems like something always happens around those times. Kind of strange.By the way , I see you also live in Lower Macungie Twsp. What are you close to , if you don't mind? Also for Steve - what do you think about this big break being forecasted after about 2 hrs of snow, and then nothing until 3 hrs later?
  5. Ralph - Haven't the Nam and Euro trended slightly South also?
  6. Blizz - where exactly in Allentown is your location? I'm just off 222 bypass at trexlertown. Moved from snow belt in NY back in 1965. Been on this site forever. This site could be better with a little more communication. I think Paul and Ralph and a few others have great stuff to offer, but really just sat back and read. Sure have seen my snow busts and dreams come true in 67 years. I think as a whole we can talk with the NYC crowd as long as nobody pushes an opinion. Just fun to see whats happening at different spots as a storm unfolds.
  7. 1.2 inches of snow. Temp - 32 degrees, Roads are slushy but driveways and sidewalks are worse. Schools have 2 hour delays!
  8. 1.2 inches at 32 degrees Flurries. Radar not impressive. Some slush on roads. driveways and sidewalks worse. 2 hour school delays!
  9. Lehigh Valley - zippo! Nothing but drizzle and light flurries all day. Glad to see some people scored a little anyway.
  10. Very light flakes right now. Light slushy accumulation on grassy areas. Most of that was around 4AM this morning. 34 degrees currently.
  11. Thanks Paul! Maybe we can squeeze another 2 inches more than that, here in Lehigh County.
  12. ChescoCoWxman - Hey Paul - what is your wxism saying about this storm?
  13. Mostly light freezing rain with some sleet mixed in for good measure. 30 degrees.
  14. Ralph - Wasn't this supposed to develop off the Virginia Capes?
