Can we say we have some solid goal posts at least. UK west, GFS East? Or not even, lol.

The 18z gfs is slower and more west with the energy that eventually gets buried out west. To my untrained eye (mets here, correct me if I am wrong) it looks like the energy is digging faster and is farther east. In my opinion this tells me gfs and nam are wrong with burying the energy.
edit- not my map
Is this a Van Gogh?

Ryan’s broadcast sending CT snow lovers straight to the Quinnipiac.
I couldn’t watch it. I scolded my wife.
“No! turn it off, I can’t hear it” Weenie ratings support FTL.

It's both true that it needs work and that it improved. The 18z MSLP is actually farther west and definitely stronger than 12z. It just also happens to be farther east than we want it.
I know, I know…. Just bringing some brevity. Gotta have some fun with it too.

Great case for why ensembles are important. Despite the op GFS sending weenies swan diving off the Tobin, the ensemble actually improved in the mean, and likely brought more members in that direction vs a few outliers skewing things.

Then describe it better lol. Like you just did. Yeah Euro has been on off capturing better.
Touché.

And it wasn’t only one run to be fair. EURO has been the model that has shown this, had it yesterday, lost it overnight, bringing it back this AM? So a one-off run isn’t an accurate descriptor

One run is never a trend
Poor use of word, forgive the semantics. But to me, this particular run looks to have that result.

Is this mornings EURO kind of trending back to a bit of LBSW? More of a megalopolis look again.

Good luck. At some point CT isn’t going to get every death band. Been a pretty incredible run there

Lol my local news went from watch out for a dangerous snowstorm to the potential this may slide too far east and flurries.

I'm just saying, at that track...banding isnt going to save the megalopolis from missing out on the huge totals. Might save Ginx and ORH. It would have to verify west of the 6z GFS, which it very well might. But that track was shit for western new england.
Ray promised me 3ft and emphatically with a .Period. Locked. Lol

I dunno, some of the past upper echelon events have shown increased long lead run to run/cross model guidance. Maybe this one does as well.
