Crushed
Hopefully NNE gets crushed with several feet of snow to maximize river and stream flooding impacts

Looks like a mild down.

Cutoff season, though. We all hope if something does develop, it stays well southeast and offshore...at worst some raw east winds for a few days.

meh. Don't think anything screams warmth coming up
Depends on what one considers warm. 80s?

yeah you can see it quite well hovering over the 3-hr intervals. Amplification was also occurring much more rapidly and H5 closed off in a prime location
Yeah, caution flags. It all comes down to dynamics and maturation of the low. A great track could still result in a relative dud so to speak.

South of pike wins this year...I'm toast up here for snow and nice weather.
Yeah its a bad time of year to live near the ocean, you just have to wait and hope things turn around. One bit of good news is that ATL SSTs are (generally) a near avg at least, or a good amount above normal. Basinwide really. Lets get a good August cane up here.

You said that for this week...you change your mind more than the New England weather model hugger!
I have only commented on this weekends warm up, cutter, and thoughts for April. You are confusing me for someone else.

What a great LR pattern on the 18z gfs. Warmer with dews, maybe some epic flooding to spice things up, too.

Nice followup cutter with return flow promoting some dews later next week.

18z gfs has a very light coastal that passes well out to sea.

Euro is close
I see, that's not good.

Euro had it, but all the cold escapes prior and it’s just cold rain.
Thank goodness.

It looked like the last few runs of the Ukie were trying, too. At least extrapolated.

How many covered bridges come down this year? Not good
Whole towns washed away?

Winter weather in SNE ended last weekend. Anyone who thinks otherwise is dreaming.
True, I was more concerned with the flooding aspect. Lets hope that isn't the case and we stay mild and very dry.

Euro and gfs both whiffed, for the best.

Not for us, thankfully.
