SN in Woodbridge, cleared roads are becoming snow covered again. If I believe the HRRR I'll get another 2-3" but even if I don't this has been a great storm.

Ripping huge dendrites. Best rates of the whole storm probably.

-
Plowed roads whitening up again.
31 degrees with moderate snow (large dendrites) and a sleet pellet or two.
-
Finally! Just flipped to mostly snow with decent sized dendrites. Hopefully it doesn't flip back...

Did you notice the wind direction changed? Almost due north now. Big Fatty's but they are transitioning down to normal fluffy dendrites now
Just east of 95 along Prince William Parkway and I still have light snow/sleet mix. Tiny flakes...

Finally. Dendrites are fighting their way through the sleet and freezing rain here in Woodbridge. Hopefully the warm nose is getting punched out of the area with the ull emergence and the costal taking over.
I just have light sleet/freezing drizzle

I’m thinking 8-10” for DC is likely. I’m at 6.2”. We’re in a great spot this afternoon/early evening.
What about Woodbridge? These bands have stayed to my north this morning, do you think I can get into some snow later on?
-
This "band" to the south of DC is just light sleet
Haven't seen real snow in 4 hours
-
Light sleet and snow in Woodbridge. 31 degrees

Is it pretty much over?
No. HRRR has the coastal dropping an additional 2-5" DC south.

Radar already looking better to the SW. Dendrites seem to have replaced pixie dust as the default dark blue/light green on radar snowflake type.
Hopefully that will help us squeeze out another inch or two....

No dendrites in sight as snow on roads and sidewalks continues to melt.
Shut up I'm like 25 miles south of you --I have 2" and all roads have caved.

SN with dendrites piling up. Heaviest I've seen all night
Right now I have around 2" with radar showing no sign of any "lull".
-
SN. Nice dendrites; definitely heavier than 10 minutes ago.
-
Steady light/moderate SN-
I had a 5 minute "lull" then radar filled back in.
Expecting another 8-10"
-
Looks like the "lull" has basically disappeared on the COD radar.
