Man the storm that hit us last night was wild. So much lightning my room was lit up. The rain and hail was so intense and loud.

If you zoom in you will see some pink to purple returns of 60-69dbz

NWS just confirmed we are behind last years snowfall. I know we had a few bigger hits this year and last year was some miserable trickles but it’s crazy we are behind even last year.

Wind gust of 42.1 today. Highest so far.

Alright let’s pivot. I’m pretty sure the NY governor is basically trying to fix the Steelers game with a travel ban. Steelers were in a much more favored position with the game tomorrow and looking at the historically over amped NAM they are maybe 6” by tomorrow.

She already showed her bias in her last news conference.

Looking at the local nws office afd they are calling for much more snow. I don’t follow lake effect snow much so maybe the models just don’t pick them up well?

Currently snowing in Upper st clair. It was rain and it’s back to snow.

Honestly, don’t think this could have gone much better for what it was.  Mix was limited if any in most areas, and rates were nice.
Not really sure what the second wave is supposed to even be since most attention was focused on this one.

I am up at 7 springs and the NAM shows us getting hammered tomorrow afternoon. 

We had a good 7+” on New Year’s Eve last week.
