  1. They do have good looking maps though, I like their graphics.
  2. Dewpoints are pretty high, between 65 and 70 degrees.
  3. Low to mid 90s is typical in the hotter parts of the country in July and August. But dews are usually in the 40s and 50s and there is almost always a decent breeze blowing. Southern Europe goes into its dry season in summer, so I would see rain like twice in all of July and August while there.
  4. I think maybe he meant the color scheme? That's what I gathered from his post.
  5. I spent the entire summers in Greece in a lot of our warmest summers in the 1990s here. I wasn't here to experience 1993, 1995, or the 1999 summers.
  6. I don't know if it's as much of ploy as it is a boneheaded decision. The tidbits colors are ok. The weathermodels map is not so good. But Pivotal takes the cake for worst color scheme. It has deep red for temps in the upper 60s. GTFO with that nonsense.
  7. Crazy how several days ago it looked like on and off rain for this weekend
  8. Still around 77 degrees. After a very quick rise temps have stagnated. It's pretty cloudy right now so I'm sure that played a part.
  9. I only got to 66 overnight and my temp has skyrocketed to 77 degrees currently. Eeww come on man
  10. Unfortunately nothing cools down nicely at night in this urban behemoth
  11. My house is from the 50s and it doesn't have jack sht lol
  12. Barrier Islands on LI including southern Queens are all in the mid 60s while a few miles north it's around 80 or 81 degrees.
  13. How did I go my whole life without knowing about this?
  14. How is your second floor not hot though? The Sun is so strong that it gets quite warm even if it's like 75 and sunny.
  15. I am pleased with our low this morning. If only every morning can have lows in the upper 50s in summer it would be amazing.
  16. You should have been a surgeon instead of poisoning people with your MRNA vaccines
  17. I despise the sound of all powered garden equipment, especially the sound of gas powered blowers.
  18. If the smoke is the cause of the ozone wouldn't that make the ozone in our case elevated?
  19. Very good point. I heard the same in the car this morning driving to work. I heard the air quality alert and assumed it was for the smoke. Then he said it was for ozone and I'm like what?
  20. 57 degrees this morning, still holding on to comfortable morning temps.
  21. How the hell is it so steady looking while using zoom lol
  22. Damn that is a super sharp pic. Did you take that with a tripod and a good optical zoom lens?
  23. The sky looks pretty smoky right now
  24. The sea breeze on LI is producing dewpoints in the 30s and 40s lol give me that sea breeze all day long please
