31 here, which was the high. Some light snow in the past hour, but finally looks like this thing is outa here.
Enough snow today to coat the ground glacier. With the freezing drizzle/rain overnight and this morning, a respectable ice event, but not enough to cause issues- just how I like it.
Everything will freeze solid tonight.
Yeah, really a nice winter day on the shore. All we need to cap off the winter is one decent snow event that is end to end no-nonsense snow

I unfortunately feel like we're heading into a grey area between both Spring and wintry threats for DC. Not getting invested in next week's threat, but at the same time the GFS has 0 days above 60 through the entire run. Ugh.
So average late Feb and March weather for a change.

Snow/sleet mix in Easton after freezing rain earlier.
Definitely rate dependent, back to frza, trees are starting to look heavy

11% in St. Mary's and 8% in Calvert so far. Starting to lose small limbs regularly. Have heard a few bigger ones in the woods.
That's rough. The worst part just missed us here in Talbot, looks like we were on the back edge, roughly 0.2" of fzra

Easton got more, we toss
The red is actually lava, we all know Easton would never get that much snow.

The torch is on in Easton up to 32.7. it's hard to stay cold

Just shoveled, probably about 0.5" sleet on paved surfaces and 1.0" sleet on grass. Light freezing mist now. Overall not a bad storm, would have liked a few inches of snow, but I was lucky enough to see some heavy snow fall at 5 am and coat everything, albeit briefly.

Is more precip coming?
Depends, some mesos say yes some say no

Moderate sleet with brightening skies, are sleet rainbows a thing?

Looks to be about 0.5" of sleet accumulation in Easton, maybe slightly more. Still sleeting, storm looks to be ending soon. Pretty much as expected for this area.

Sleet mixed with freezing rain with this heavier stuff moving in here in Easton now. Pretty decent coating of ice. Hoping the main roads just stay wet.
Up to 29.5 already, I bet we sneak above freezing here, roads should be fine this afternoon. I was up this morning for the brief period of snow, which was nice to see, hopefully some of the back end action being advertised actually works out for us.

We did get some snow in Easton at 5 am. Looks like 0.25 of snow/ sleet accumulation.

Hard to get snow to accumulate when it starts as sleet,
29/21, sleet

34/14.4 on the shore

I think we have an evolving situation with the back end. Euro now has 4"for southern DE.
That dead zone is kind of brutal, but will probably change.
Some how Talbot County always maximizes the dead zone, not exactly sure what factors cause that to happen

As with most winter weather events this year, this is another case of not being our storm.
Sounds like maybe an inch of snow for my area before a transition to other forms of wintery precip, which may or may not change to cold rain depending on the speed of the storm. MESOS also showing precip missing the Eastern Shore in the beginning which would make snow accumulation even tougher.
Our friends in Charles, Calvert, and northern St Mary's have a chance of nice, albeit short, front end thump.

I'm fully expecting 32.7 degrees and rain on Thursday, much like last night.

GEFS weaker and easter with LP in the Ohio Valley.
Holler at us in the southern md/lower eastern shore sub if there starts to be appreciable winter weather threat south of Baltimore Corner, otherwise hibernation mode starts until the @Lowershoresadness storm shows up on guidance again at the end of the month.

Looks like Mount Holly was close to going with ISW here...
We`ve increased the planar ice accumulation totals up to near 0.25" which is bordering on ice storm warning conditions. We`ve opted not to issue an ice storm warning mainly due to the impacts we were not seeing earlier combined with a look at the road/sub surface temps.
Probably the right call, at .25" here, no road issues. If this would have come at night it would have been a completely different story.

About .25" accretion just eyeing the trees, might be slightly more on the surfaces that froze earlier in the day. 29.7 now. Roads just wet for now.
