    I love Winter Weather! Understanding models and even many posts is hard for me. 162 hours is 6.5 days however, and I'm suppose to be driving from DC proper to NYC Manhattan and staying the weekend. I don't travel in bad weather! I will watch as I always do, but any early advice here, american wx peeps? You think I should cancel? Thank you in advance.

    Almost 1 inch since it started early this a.m.. Seems like constant low drizzle. Winds are minimal.

    Give us a tip how you keep the wild life from eating/destroying your wonderful veggie/fruit garden. Here in Alexandria VA we can't seem to grow anything as it all gets eaten while growing ( a bite here and there). We have the usual suspects: fox, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds. Is your garden enclosed and gated or what? Yes, no sense to waste water on an event that happens every summer. I gave up long ago except to keep trees and flowers alive.

    I don't post much. Incredible thunderstorm here in Alexandria City. Amazed we still have our electricity which always goes out in these circumstances. Not much heads up, unless I missed it. Well wishes to all.
