I wish it where still available to the general public, breaks my heart to think about all of the people who used to use it and now have to search for alternative data sources.

Newark, DE land of sleet and snow to rain: 39.655120, -75.761920

Heaviest snow of the day here in Newark DE. The CC radar product shows some odd bursts of heavy snow in the sleet zone.

The radar does not lie when it comes to the sleet on the CC product. Newark DE switched to sleet around 11AM with 1" of fresh snow on the ground.

0.8" in Newark DE after the 45 minute snow-virga waiting period. Temp 32.2F Dew Point Temp 24F. According to radar the mix is about 10 miles away.

Amazing - not a single flake of snow in Newark DE. Oh wait first few tiny flakes just started. At least 20 minutes from radar showing snow to actual flakes.
