  1. He’s crying in another thread too lol .
  2. Well looks like this was a score and monster and big hit for almost everyone! We set new records in GA, SC, and a lot of NC! This was a forum wide storm with so many winners and some very high totals! Congrats everyone and hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did and then some! What a long week of tracking! I need a break after the last 3 weeks. January has been brutally cold and absolutely wild and wintry all over! February looks to start calm and mild and by mid February looks like there could easily be another threat or two until the end of the month. But right now, I need to take a break from models and just breathe lol I’m sure yall do too! It’s been a great one and I enjoyed tracking with all of y’all and hope you had just as much fun! Go enjoy the snow, new records, and time with the family! Remember, the little moments are what makes life worth living every single day and don’t take it for granted! God bless to everyone in here and until next time, goodbye! .

  4. Yeah I’m not sure where or how they do their reports. It was spot on just about for my area .
  5. Yeah that map was older. I’m sure the updated one will fill in the entire state much more! .
  6. Records will be set in every state! As crazy as it sounds, my area of Winder, GA just set a new record snowfall for a 24 hour period, with 4.6” officially today. That was in only 10 hours though. The previous record was 4.0” on 1901! I had to look it up because that sounded so low, but sure enough, it’s in the books. I will say this area hardly ever, I mean once every 20+ years, sees snow higher than 1-3”. Today we broke a record! .

  9. I’ll just leave this here…. Wow! What a storm! Congrats to everyone who cashed in! This storm over performed for a ton of us, especially NE GA. 5” where I live. NC setting 100+ year records broke and still pouring over there! Congrats everyone!! We ate today!! .
  10. Just wow!! What an insane storm all around! NE GA to NE/C NC and Upstate SC really cashed in and it over performed for a ton of us! .
  11. And that’s what matters my guy! Congrats!! Today was definitely a great day for us weens and a lot of us scored big, including myself! I was up at 4am and I overate today and now I’m exhausted and ready for a bomb ass sleep! Wins all around!! .
  12. Yeah unfortunately you were way too far S and W for this one. .
  13. GA NWS preliminary snowfall totals. I put a yellow circle over where I’m at. 4.2” You can see the extremely sharp cutoff to almost nothing to our west. .
  14. Here is the preliminary snowfall totals from our NWS. I put a small yellow circle over where I’m at. 4.2”. You can see the extremely sharp cutoff to almost nothing to our west. 4”+ verified my original forecast of 2-4”, that said back on Tuesday and our biggest since 2011. Cheers to everyone who scored and I feel for those who don’t, because I’ve been on the not scoring any end way more than I’ve ever been on the winning side of winter weather storms down here. .
  15. Man I feel for you. I’d genuinely be furious, more upset than a bad breakup, and wanting to never track winter weather ever again lol that’s literally the worst! I’m sorry brother! I’d legit probably take a hot shower and sit down and just cry [emoji24] .
  16. Yeah bro, that deformation band was absolutely no joke! Today was the heaviest snow I’ve seen in GA. I spent 5 winters in Michigan a few years back, and this was literally the same exact type of snowstorm that Michigan gets, almost regularly lol, with 20:1 ratios and it’s currently colder here than up there wind chill wise. 4° right now! I can tell you right now it’s way more enjoyable down here! .
  17. Dude congrats!! We ended up with just over 4” and here’s a few pics from the storm. It was a great one for us and the biggest storm in NE GA since January of 2011, so a long wait! .
  18. This was the best late birthday gift I could ask for today! .
  19. Oh shit for real!? January 27th! Right on brother! Of course I’m a Braves fan! .
  20. Keep me posted! It’s done here, topped out between 4-5”, 4.2” in MBY. .
  21. Dude congrats!! That’s what I’m talking about! Enjoy! .
  22. Thanks brother! It’s been a long time waiting. Last 4”+ snowfall, minus today, was all the way back in January of 2011. It’s been a very long wait. First time in my life where we have had back to back winters with more then 4” of snow total in both winters. We definitely cashed out here. But areas west of me, specifically Atlanta, suburbs, and metro got a dusting to nothing at all, so a lot of upset Atlanteans. Normally NGA and WGA hog all out snow and E/NE get the infamous warm nose and always get screwed, but not this time. Last 2 winters have made the wait well worth it. I’m personally ready for summer after today. It’s been one of the closest January’s on record here and around the SE in general and boy I am ready for shorts and tank weather lol .
