    Keep in mind that these shortwaves (or lobes of vorticity) are still over the North Pacific so as they come ashore, we should start to get a better picture of what will happen of how they will interact with the ULL/trough dropping down

    00z Euro has the coastal though it's not clean phase so some upper level energy gets held back and forms a secondary low just at the mouth of the Chesapeake. Interesting run. Someone will have to post maps because I'm on my phone lol
