RGEM looks great for a lot of NC. Has all snow for the majority of Wake and points north and west. -
The NAM and GFS both suck here for totals lately. Should that be a concern or do we ride the other models?

Woke up to a Winter Storm Watch. Hope the models continue to be good and the NAM gets in line with the others.

WRAL showed the Euro tonight. They are looking at increasing their totals.

We got reversed NAMed.

NAM, 3K and FV3 are all way north. So they look worse when the Euro looks better.

All the models seem to have at least 2 inches for Raleigh north.

NAM fell apart. Warm and hardly any snow for anywhere except west of the Triangle at the beginning.

NAM looks juicy at 36.

They always do it and then adjust higher at the last minute if needed. They would rather bust over than under ever since the infamous storm in December 2000 where Greg Fishel ended up in the fountain because they forecasted a huge storm that ended up being nothing.

They never are. All the models could be showing a foot of snow and they wouldn't forecast it until 24 hours out at least.
