Radar showing rotation west of Richmond. Haven't heard any reports of a tornado on the ground.
-
All three of the tornado warnings have expired. All were radar indicated.
Nothing here in north Raleigh but rain.
-
Probably won't get anything here today as far as storms go since it's going to stay cloudy. We need to have some sun usually to give the spark needed for storms.

Dud?? Here in Pickens county sc had 2 tornadoes less then 2 miles from our house. Pretty dam scary when the power goes out and it's pitch black then your phone screams tornado warning. I'll make sure to send the next dud system your way and see how you like it.
I wasn't talking about where you are. I said the local mets, meaning the ones where I am.

Lots of hype from the local mets today about the potential for severe storms and it's been a dud.

The area for the enhanced severe risk has been extended west.

Looks like the RAP increased the backside snow and the totals.

It is classic cold chasing the moisture. It won't result in any real accumulation if it happens at all. This is what I am getting at.
Who said anything about accumulations? There's still a chance we can see severe storms and snow in the same day. This is a very dynamic system and something that we rarely see here.

Snow for who? The mountains? They have their own thread.
I didn't realize the Triangle was in the mountains.

I made a thread for the severe storms and snow threat tomorrow.

Well, this could be interesting. Severe storms followed by snow tomorrow.

The rain and cold sucks. I'm ready for 70s and sunshine.

Coming out of January I was very ready to give this winter a solid B grade but while January was a B+, A- in my opinion December and February have been a F and a D respectively. Overall I’d have to say that gives this winter a C- or just above passing. Like others have said, it’s over. The progressive nightmare isn’t going away due to the Atlantic even with a friendly Pacific since December and we’re just getting warmer. Onto spring and severe tracking
No way it can be above a D. We were below average again. The multiple chances and only getting one legit storm that still ended up being a small event only makes it worse. I'm tired of the cool and rainy days, too, and ready for sun and temps in the 70s.
