    Given continued uncertainty, have held of on any Advisory/Warning decisions until later today.

    I would rather potentially miss 4 days out then get a storm where the consensus is 6”+ and we end up with a mix and 1” of slop. All too often we think too much about how we got there not the end result. Snow is snow no matter if it exceeds forecast or falls short. 4”+ of snow can either be great - or a let down. But it’s still the same. Stay level and don’t get too high or too low. Keep it all in perspective.

    Is there any way to tell if the mean is higher because of mostly higher highs or higher lows. It feels to me like even though this could be the warmest year, it is mainly driven by the lows not being as cold. just seems like most of the variances are related to warmer temperatures in the historically colder months and less by extreme high temperatures in the summer. Curious if that data exists.

    Looks like long range forecast - at least on weather channel app has gone up 3-4 degrees each day since last week. Now mid to high 30's every day after new years. Trending the wrong way.
