Anytime politics come into play, there's friction. But I’ll just point out which side hurls the most personal insults and name calls.

99% of her posts are designed to elicit a response-hence the 5th grade name calling routine.     It's the shitck of a housebound person with no life outside of trolling people on several message boards...

I keep saying it... only 45 deaths from Delta under the age of 50 in the UK.

They need a hospital ship, for sure.

Yep, been hearing that since March of 2020. Like I said, get the field hospital set up and pay the nurses more so they stay, if it's that much of an issue. But neither of those things will happen and the media will just suddenly stop talking about it. Just like last year.

Many hospitals closed wards and reduced staff during the very slow time in the spring, and now they are paying for that in some cases and having to scramble. During this entire pandemic, people have been trying to claim that business decisions made by the hospital administrations are strongly correlated to COVID spread and severity. Some hospitals are just grossly mismanaged and always have very long ER waits and wards bursting at capacity.

It's hard to say what the experience very early on means in the bigger picture. We knew basically nothing about the virus. There were stories out of NYC of doctors venting basically every COVID patient who walked in the door early on. A lot has changed since then. If hospitals are STILL getting "overwhelmed" now that means they did not take the proper precautions to prepare and instead tried to cut corners and downsize because they were losing money when there were no patients. Now they are scrambling with a huge influx of delayed elective procedures, RSV, and COVID. That means they are run by penny-pinching morons, not that the virus is outrageously severe in that locale. People keep making this mistake when looking at the hospital data and the media pumps it up because fear sells.

Looking at the curves, I think s lot of states are just about there. Louisiana looks to be about to break over. Lot of states curves right now aren’t as steep as the last wave.

I also see the 7 day average of cases is around 100,000. Deaths are around 500 a day. The last time cases were at 100k per day, deaths were running 3000 a day. This surge is clearly different. It’s either the vaccines, or delta isn’t as deadly. Probably a combination of both.

were vaccines rolling out the last time cases were 100k and 3k deaths?

I dunno, I don’t think so. I could be wrong. But it’s been 7 weeks since the cases started going up and we should have seen an increase in deaths. So far it hasn’t happened. But yea, let’s see what happens in 3 weeks. I think cases start to fall.

    please be right man.

They have implemented actual vaccine passport systems in Europe. Hasn't happened here yet. It was those systems that triggered the biggest recent protests. They have been met with brutal crackdowns and arrests by the vaxx patrol.

do you read your children vaxx patrol bedtime stories

Lots of hospitals mandate it. Either vax or wear a mask during flu season. Mass General is one

terrible thought to utilize a mask during a pandemic though.

Capitol tristate isn't a small business buddy. Up and down the east coast . And as of today there's no mask mandate at Depot . I was there . If Depot requires it in the future  then I'll go to Lowes ...if they do then I'll refuse to comply and they'll have to arrest me . So be  it . Time for Americans to push back and sorry to disappoint you but many are . There's millions of peeps like me who usually keep to themselves ( very little if any news watching, social media or political talk) who spend there time working hard,  taking care of their families, help  there neighbors etc ...who are rising up to push back on mandates / restrictions. It's happening whether you agree or not .

im not disappointed.. looking forward to all the hilarious push back content coming to the internets soon.

I like Lowe’s better. They’ll get my business. Business can put on mask mandates, I dont have to shop there. Free enterprise.

Early on  in pandemic Lowe's near me pulled their blue nitrile gloves off the shelf to donate to the hospitals.

Good to see them still looking out for the Hospitals to this date.

Yup absolutely, the stress on the hospital system in the southeast is about to put a ton of people out of their livelihoods. Every employer should have the power to make the decision of what is most feasible and beneficial to them and how they want to go forward. That used to be a conservative opinion but things got weird lately.

reasonable.  to anybody without a thick skull.
