twitter @tuscaloosa tornado that EMS has reached decimated area east of Rosedale housing projects. "Dozens of bodies" are in the streets and have asked for a cold storage unit from the State. THIS IS NOT the same request that we heard from for the mobile morgue last night...that was on the GA AL line. Weather channel reporter is in the middle of a debris field...said he could hear moans coming from rubble, with no organized rescue within site. HVY equipment needed for extraction but the area is just too damaged.

hard to tell the difference at times becuase one can argue a slower moving tornado has more time to sweep the pile of rubble away then the same tornado moving faster EF4=only a pile of rubble left EF5= nothing at all

listening to various soruces in AL and GA..... they still haven't got to alot of areas yet..will be looking for people for days bringing in special search teams

CNN/FOX spending most of their time on the Royal wedding with only blips about the tornadoes

but in this case it was cleary an F4+ by looking at particle motion and large debris all over being thrown out

yes major damage just north of downtown on the extreme north side of the city north burbs got hit hard ..deaths in Pleasant groove

once again the storms this morning knocked power out to many people in AL..they had tornaodes and very highe winds about 5-7am they had no power or access to TV and NOAA weather radio was down in some locations and the internet also i assume the sirens won't work if no power

I don't think tornado reports ever had a filter only wind and hail did..of course many are from the same tornado again you have to add the 61(that will increase) from yesterday afternoon.evening and the early morning hours before 12z

yes same outbreak there was only like an hour between reports starting in texas yesterday(12z to 13z this morning)..and many more that were entered as wind reports that said possible tornado last night
