  1. FWIW , the 12z GFS was still suppressed but continued the North Trend from 6Z...
  2. Oh absolutely, this one is far from set in stone...
  3. To much suppression on the models right now for next weekend...
  4. Sure does... but I completely understand how not many folks want to get disappointed again.... something to definitely keep an eye on it
  5. 18z GFS Ensemble... FWIW , not bad for next weekend Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah both the OP GFS and Para still have the storm but it's suppressed and out to sea.
  7. Haha. Yeah I know @Buddy1987 ,@Disc and myself are in the minority , further north than most on the forum , either way, you never know what March will bring.
  8. We are actually in the 6-7 day range with this possibility... yeah I know the way winter has gone , it's a long shot but let's see how things trend...
  9. Will have to watch the future runs but next weekend is definitely intriguing!
  10. Next Saturday definitely may have legs! Euro with a coastal as well....
  11. Just a little ICE on the deck this morning with some light freezing drizzle. Temperature now at 32.2 in Dry Fork.
  12. Your posts are either about rain or rain, can you just pick one?
  13. 12z EURO brings the Snow back next Friday/Saturday into VA , a little to warm further south
  14. 0z GFS brings back light snow for next Friday, while the GFS PARA has a more amped system... keeping the snows in VA
  15. Hated to see the EURO lose the storm but still plenty of time to go
  16. From what I can tell , the High is actually shearing and suppressing the wave. Can someone elaborate on that?
  17. 0z EURO still has the storm , starts strong and then weakens.... details can be ironed out later. It is very good to have the EURO AND GFS having a storm this far out
  18. 0z GFS keeps the storm for next Friday, a moderate snow for NC/southern VA
  19. 3 warm days in a row aren't going to overwhelmingly warm the ground but so much especially with the cold ground right now and the temps during next week at night still in the 30s
  20. Surprised no one has said this but if u go back to the 18z gfs on February 12th, it has shown Snow for the 27th almost every single run. Some big hits... but IF this storm comes to pass, the GFS definitely sniffed it out a long ways out from Hour 342 to Hour 174 now.
