06z GEFS was another big, and good shift!

Kind of a weird thought , but how can a Meteorologist say to not post a crazy snow map 6 days out but it's okay to post a temperature map or a map that shows no snow 6 days out... isn't that an oxymoron? 1 is just as likely not to happen than the other... maybe I'm wrong...

I think it's running now...

Good news is that the GEFS is different and looks a lot better than the OP. Toss the 18z OP

ICON did have light snow in northern NC,  Southern VA. I'll stick to my belief, it will either be a large system or a minor. No in between.

Gfs was looking good early on and then it went wide right again....

Euro still misses but... it did move west from 0z.

I like where the GFS and CMC are at right now... moving west a bit.... this could turn out great folks...

I could be totally wrong on this, but this system either looks very light or very major. I don't see an in between kind of event with this.

0z GFS still has a storm but looks like it is a near miss... stays off the coast

Everything is downhill after that run by the GFS.  Their is no way it can out do that lol

The fact is we would all love a storm like that but realize it probably won't go down like that... but the signal is there for a storm of some type.

It's about time we probably see a clown solution on the Euro and the GFS will go poof, what storm.? Lol. You know they won't agree

Curious why Brad Panovich gets after people for sharing the gfs showing all that snow, and he has the arrow on 7-10 days out... its only 5-6 days out!

Taken the GFS literally, this storm period starts late Friday night. So we are 5 1/2 - 6 days out. Not fantasy land at all...

That GFS run was a widespread 2-3' storm... depending upon location...

What a big snowstorm!!! Please be right!!

I put a little more stock in the GFS during the 5-7 day period after its upgrade... the Euro has been a let down so far...

GFS has been consistently showing a storm of some sort around this period. It definitely will need to be watched in the coming days... and I don't consider thus fantasy land. This is 6-7 days out...
