    NY state cases is starting to rise now, watch out! Second wave incoming!

    Just typical, no heat waves this year. Mostly 70's - 80's.

    Yikes, US is about to hit 30k new cases, so far 1100+ deaths reported.

    Yup, why would he want to start phase 1 on May 15th, too early. He know better than that. Whole NY should be on lockdown until July. Don't be surprised if we will see second wave by September.

    GFS growing more confident that after a period of cold polar cap heights (PCHs)/positive Arctic Oscillation (AO) warming PCHs in the lower troposphere will force a -AO helping to transition ridging with warm temperatures to troughing and more seasonable temperatures in Eastern US

    I'm pretty sure we will be stuck on phase 1 at least until mid June before we begin phase 2 so it's going to take awhile.

    Second wave incoming, get ready! Remember spring break in Florida when they didn't follow the rules, cases went up quickly so it will be the same cases for beaches in NE and east coast.

    I'm positive that WNY and Finger lakes will not start phase 1 On May 15th. Maybe last week of May or June 6th.

    I don't see any 70' where I live (Rochester, NY) in next 15 days so I should be good. Let's hope we don't see our first 80 in late June.

    What about Finger Lakes? Do you think we will start phase 1 on May 16th or have to wait till June 6th?

    Do you think upstate NY will get extended again into June. What bothers me is that state of PA and Ohio got extended again into June and NY haven't when upstate NY has more cases than PA and Ohio.

    Too bad it doesn't work well in high population in the northeast since the summer is not hot up there and I have been hearing a year without summer this year in the northeast so not good news.

    NY Governor Andrew Cuomo said in today briefing that NY death for May 6th (yesterday) was 231 which was improving. He's a BUST! According to worldometer (where CDC update the reports) shows more than 700+ people died in NY yesterday and 400+ today so far. Why would he lie something like this - not cool.

    No word about extend again from NY governor today, I'm starting to get worried about going back to work on May 15th when cases is high in monroe county

    Upstate NY should, i mean Look at Erie County (3500+ cases and going up), Monroe County (1500+ cases and going up). There's no signs of declining for those cities. NY governor would be crazy not to extend it.
