  1. On radar it looks like the sleet/snow line is crashing through Dayton. Maybe in conjunction with this band?
  2. Short range modeling still says we’re good for 6-8”. I’m staying confident.
  3. Whine? Me? No. Panic? Maybe a little. Watching that sleet/snow line go north made me panic a bit. It’s helping watching it come back SE.
  4. 1pm and still no signs of movement to the SE on our sleet/snow line…
  5. I don’t like seeing the sleet line pushing back to the north.
  6. Yep. If it’s getting to be 4-5pm and we still have sleet, I’ll start to worry. I think we’re still on track.
  7. Most of the models I saw last night didn’t show a change to snow until 2-3pm. I’m not sure what the freak out is about here. We’re right on schedule.
  8. Yep, 33F here in Westerville. Was 39F maybe an hour ago. Dropping fast. So much standing water is going to freeze quickly at this rate. Now for the entirety of the atmosphere….
  9. Don’t do this to yourself, Dilly. It’s not going to happen and then you’re going to come in here pissed. You need an intervention, bud!
  10. I would love for the GFS to be right, but.......... I don't see it.
  11. I mean, why are they even there? All of us could say 3-8" too.
  12. Logically, I feel like it's been a very long time since the RGEM ever scored a coup on anything. You can't trust the NAM at this range, especially when it's making large wobbles. Typically when the GFS caves it does so by now and it hasn't. It's been extremely consistent, and it does a better job in this situation. So, logically, I still see this working out. BUT, it IS central Ohio so I can see this being anything from a sleet fest to rain Wednesday and a sunny day Thursday. Honestly.
  13. What's your gut say? You've seen more of these here than most of us!
  14. I mean, I can't blame you. I always tell my wife with regards to winter weather here in Westerville....if there's a way for it to go wrong, it will go wrong.
  15. Yep, but still an absolutely catastrophic ice storm on it for I-71.
  16. Hope you’re right. I’m officially worried. That would be a crippling ice storm for me.
  17. I think it looks better than modeled at this stage of the game. Hang in there, bud.
  18. I’ve been saying I feel good about where we are for 4-6+ and I still do. But I’ll hedge at 5” for a final call. I’m more worried about mixing than a wiff.
  19. Yep, if the "game" was getting over a foot of snow, you should know better. We just don't get snow like that here more than once in a decade or two. The game is very much alive for 4-6" here for all the reasons you mentioned. I like where we sit at this juncture.
