Okay... storm mode has its benefits, but can't beat the absolutely brutal jabs on each other without it. The threads are far less useful, but far more fun.

I'm really curious to see if this event generates a foot anywhere in the CWA... given the antecedent conditions. If it does, its gotta be unprecedented. I know we've had significant snows after warm days but 12"+ after 60+?

I'm hoping for 2 inches up here at the m/d line. Could see our area getting nothing but also could see how we could get a boom scenario.

Was the rude comment really necessary? I'm as much a part of this subforum as you. I track and root for the same storms as you. This kind of attitude is what drives people away or into lurking.

Starting to feel just a bit nervous about that NW trend...its hard enough to stay away from mixing at the beaches as it is.

Sorry to inform you the vast majority of this sub hopes the beaches rain...
If you're raining, I'm getting my normal pancakes with thundersleet and PSU is getting whiteout meatballs

Does anyone other than a weenie use the hrrr for looking at snow forecasts this far out? Maybe at game time for discrete enhancements. I dunno.
Its not the output... its the trend. Trends matter more than any single run.

Yikes. RN/SN line really moving with that.
PSU is performing his rituals to bring the deathband to its rightful location... nothing unexpected

GFS is aligning with all other guidance. The end. This was inevitable.

LWX must have a different definition of “worst-case” scenario than the rest of us.
They're probably weenies just like us but they have to play to the crowd

Better get out early tomorrow and get whatever you may need before the normies hear about this... its gonna be pandemonium with already bare shelves

We're happy, but we all know the GFS is way overdone, right? I know most do, but I just wanna make sure.

Technically next up is the LR HRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR but i dunno if anyone cares about that. Its running now - not seeing any noteworthy changes at 500, but then again this was already the snowiest model at 18z, so maybe thats a good thing?
