Yep around 1:30 to be more exact. Both teams played hard and both goalies were outstanding. Just glad to see a win for the Bears.

This made for a nail biting last game. Honestly you could see Hershey just wanted it more.

I'm not sure who, if any of you who watched picked up on it, but they were playing multiple songs, that are staples at Bears games.  Not sure if they knew it or not, but it definitely gave our players a boost. My daughter text me and said it was kind of funny that the Firebirds had no idea, but the fans there from Hershey and the players knew. In fact the broadcasters even started to discuss it.

I stayed up as well for all of it - I operate on short sleep and was able to get up at 8am today so it was an easy choice for me.

It's legit cool to stop and realize that the most storied franchise in the history of the AHL is in our own backyards.

    Slacker :lmao:

Opportunistic Bears claw their way back in.  Impressed. Cannot stay up for more but happy for the team to be tied going into the final period.

    you missed a great ending.

Saw a text from daughter when i woke up, her drinking beer out of the Calder Cup :drunk:

Happy Summer all.  Hoping the spring was enjoyable.  Been a rather challenging one for me (parents), but they're still here, so I'll still consider myself lucky.  Just hoping to get through it w/ a tinge of sanity left in my soul.

Here's to the start of shorter nights and the lead up to autumn and winter "fun" - or lack thereof.  Cant wait to see how big the Nino gets and what it leads to here.

FWIW My grass is cooked, but I mowed for fun last night as I'm getting away for a long overdue weekend (as much stuff has been put on hold due to the parent thingy).

My sons wedding's gonna happen no matter come 9/16 -  and I'll get to see my daughter for the first time since Christmas (cancelled trip due to above mess).  Cant wait.

    Have a good one.

I'll wish good thoughts for you bro

That is an easy one I think.  Humid...probably not going to be dry and sunny but could dodge rain in any given place.   LOL

He has no sense of humor at this point. I told him to have the guests bring 3 sets of clothes, 1 for humid weather, 1 for cold weather and a set of rain gear. He told me to F off :lmao:

King Nam in the 1/2-3/4" range for total qpf for most of the Eastern 1/2 of PA going into Friday.  Has a bullseye for qpf Friday AM just south of Cumberland county but that is quite random.   Fast cut off in qpf for the western 1/3 to 1/4 of the state.

My buddy is starting to sweat bullets. He's having his daughters graduation party Saturday afternoon. He has been texting all morning asking for weather updates

Saturday, January 16, 2016 I received 35" of snow making it the biggest single snowstorm accumulation of my life.  (I was 57 at the time).  I think temps were mainly in the low 20s, but I can't remember that as well.

i trust your notes better then mine. I wonder why mine show 22-23rd?

66 for the low here as well.  Your comment could be taken many ways.  I will choose to view it under a meteorological umbrella haha.  But yes, rain......it's coming.  I'm pretty pooped from throwing our annual summer party on Saturday.  We did the slow cleanup on Sunday while imbibing in the "leftovers" ha.  It was a great weekend but man it takes it out of ya.

you ain't kidding. When my family has a party, nobody gives a time. People show up when they want and may or may not leave the same day. Sometimes a 4th of July party turns into the 3rd, 5th, 6th etc. The older I get, takes longer to recover

Younger me would be headed to Giant Centre tonight for the late-night trophy lift watch party, not sleep, and go into work tomorrow thrashed.

Old me doesn't have the energy to stay up to even watch the game.

I hate the Craps, but the Bears used to be the baby Flyers and that's enough for me.

On mow #8 and my grass has not started to regrow at all yet despite the 1/3" on Mon and little bit on Wed.  Some green but no mowing on the immediate docket here.  Seems quite possible to go into July under double digits as I bet it grows some after today but if we are dry for the next week or two, one more mow will be it for June.

i should have mowed yesterday. But the hockey game/tailgating won the priority

So I can't get in touch with my parents. They had a really really bad storm late last night. Have some friends driving an hour out to check on them, so send good vibes please and hope it's just a cell tower down there.

shit. Wishing good thoughts for them
