We have a feeder for the Hummers too. Last week they were hitting it hard. But this week they were hitting the flowers and weeds instead of the feeder. They were still here as of last evening. I took this pic last evening. This is our Lilac bush. It blooms in the spring, but for some unknown reason in August it loses its leaves and the it gets some new ones and we have some blooms in the fall months. This has been happening for at least 7 years now. So when I went to get a pic of the Lilac last evening there was a hummer enjoying the blooms.
cool picture

I have a late vacation this year and have been holding my breath on Tropical threats next week on the OBX. Looks like I get lucky and win again by not buying travel insurance. Biggest threat is too cool to get into the pool. Good thing the neighbors won't know what they're missing not seeing me in a bathing suit. Lol
If you drink enough liquor, pool water temp doesn't matter. follow my youtube channel for more worthless info

the only positive about me getting sick, this is first year of not planting annuals or having potted and hanging plants. so i'm not worried about watering

Speaking of football - look forward to Texas going to Michigan Saturday and flexing muscle and showing them what the fastest team in college looks like.

Sorry to hear that. It is so hard to get the timing right. Not good in the summer and not running at all when cold so you just have a several week period unless you just go for it and replace thinking it dies soon.
we will put new in, in the spring.

I don't think that has ever stopped me from providing it. I grew up in a "You speak when spoken to family" and spoke anyway, which resulted in a lot of back hands. I was born in the 80s back before looking at a child wrong sent your anus to Leavenworth, and so by the time I was 8, I had already been through multiple sets of teeth.
I was ten once at the dentist for a cleaning and the dentist noticed the teeth he was checking had different growth rings than those the girl he was screwing on the side had cleaned last, and he asked what happened and I told them that I was told to "say what one more goddamned time," and by the time the wedding ring smashed my mouth, I had said what four additional times.
dude, you're old

Great post that I almost entirely agree with, but I think you meant to say one of the deepest defensive lines, not offensive, correct? While I agree they should wax WVU, the week one factor along with on the road gives me at least a little pause. You just never know how teams are going to come out of the gate on week one in college football, particularly with a new offense. But yeah, a loss to WVU would feel like a virtual season ender and have Franklin's trousers starting to smoke.
i have read multiple reports that their o-line is deeper then its ever been.

It will for sure rain on Labor day and be in the mid to low 60s. A week later we will have a string of high 80s and even 90. Anyone wanna bet?
