    My dearest Hanlore,

One week has come since the skies became dark. A week since the large ball of fire was put out like a see-gar on the ashtray of existence. And I long for your embrace. Or maybe I long for the warmth of the sun. My crotch continues to itch and I spend the majority of the time I am not writing to you going through my hairs with a small brush. I still wonder if you were truthful when telling me you did not stray beyond our matrimony whilst on your voyage to Buenos Aires. I take you at your word, but the itch is neverending.

Oh, my love, I miss with the same continuity the lightest of drizzles has enveloped the atmosphere since the sun last shone. I just hope this infernal itching will subside.

    All my love,

    Nooners

for the longest time i thought you did drugs, but now, now i just think you're just F'd up like me

yeah, this is a nice fall day to me as well.  Hoping the cabin has a bit more color this weekend as it seems like we are a wee bit ahead of peeping schedule.

i like these days too, however its messing with my walking schedule.

Isn't it to be this way through weekend?

Week four of Jr. High Football sent my anus to Claysburg-Kimmel High School, which may be the nicest Single A football stadium in the state. Although they've spent probably 3/4 of a million dollars on artificial turfing EVERYTHING, they have such a small set of visitors benches that they roll out... in the middle of the infield of their baseball field.

Dimensions: 300 to both left and right, 340 to left centre, and a diabolical 470 to right centre.

This field hosted a state playoff game last year with Steelton Highspire. I don't know how they were able to house the amount of people I would expect the Rollers would turn up.

I spent tonight knowing I could turn a double play if I needed to.

As for the weather, it was dreary and cold with a constant drizzle. Such misery.

My oil furnace was installed by prior owner in 2018 and ac in 2017. I  was seriously thinking about getting a heat pump or heat pump and gas furnace, but the numbers after estimates don't work i.e. $ savings vs. cost. So I'm just going to wait for them to die before replacing them, providing I don't die first! Lol

The thing I don't like is that the oil furnace requires a chimney vent, so when it gets windy, even though there's a draft damper on the system, there's still a draft effect as from any chimney. My house is sealed well, with that the only weak spot, so I hoped to fix it but it just makes no sense financially for the little bit of air infiltration from the chimney. So the final plan is to replace the ac unit with a heat pump should the ac fail, which would save on oil with temps above 35 degrees.

I'm fortunate that my family is talented. We started at 7 am and had it pumping  air by 1pm, which included tearing out the old and installing new, plus the duct work modification from old to new.

  5. Installed new HVAC system in the original part of my house on Saturday. Ducted mini-split heat pump. Will be much more efficient then the 30 year old AC unit. My forced hot air oil will now become backup only, but doubt it will ever run. We use to burn less than 50 gallons a year during heating season. i'm looking for a serious reduction in my elec bill.

sorry man. Hope you're feeling better soon. Though we didn't have same thing, took me 3 months to fully recover.

I'm back and I learned an important lesson. Never ever go to a dentist for a root canal. I did so last Monday. I went to bed Wednesday not feeling well. Woke up 2 am soaked, in pain, and barely able to think. Lucky I was at my parents with my daughter cause I barely remember calling 911 and waking them. I awoke next sometime Friday evening in the ICU, it's all blurry. Sepsis sucks and comes on fast. I'm lucky

Not good man. Glad you are getting better. Sepsis sucks. When i was sick in may, i was septic. One of the biggest side affects is fatigue. I'm still not right. Good luck.

Light rain in Harrisburg. looks like we don't break 70 again today

Hummingbirds appears to be gone here.
That would be pretty cool seeing a baby hummingbird.

you guys talking about humming birds reminded me of an all time classic. My sister and BIL are avid feeders and watchers of birds including hummingbirds. a couple years ago sitting on their patio a hummingbird came to one of their flowers. and my sister says "nothing like watching a hummer" Simultaneously we all burst out laughing. For like 15 minutes she still didn't catch on to what she said. On occasion we will be by the pool and someone will just blurt out, "nothing like watching a hummer" and we all laugh again

The game sure has changed over the years, hasn't it?

Eagles with a 4th and 4 early on - I'm telling my wife that they should take the points and move on, but I knew that Sirianni was going to go for it. He did, and they didn't get it. An easy call to second guess; however, there was a time when 100% of coaches in the NFL would have gladly taken the 3. The game has evolved into...gambling. LOL. Dan Campell, the Staley dude that got canned in LA are/were other coaches who wouldn't think twice about forgoing the points and gambling on getting 6.

In that scenario, I felt strongly that you take the points. It figured to be a possession/low scoring game...it was, and those missed 3 points ended up huge.

add Mike Tomlin to your list
