My building's pool likely won't open either. Given that it's sitting empty right now with the exception of some rain water and green stuff, even if they filled it today the pool water would get sufficiently warm maybe sometime later in July if the weather is hot enough. Big reason they gave was lack of lifeguards, since a lot of them come from overseas every summer and this year they can't get here.

A Western Omelet from Eastern Market, DC along with the potatoes is wonderful thing. The French Toast, too. Meanwhile, another lull along the Alexandria/Fairfax County line.

Metro should be fine; unless conditions are really lousy, usually it takes 8 inches of accumulation (height of the 3rd rail) to get outdoor portions shut down.
