That’s how it looked Last night here too...quite an accretion of ice. Much more wintry/snowy here now though with snowcover on all the ice.

You may be right, but that thing jumps around as bad as any model now...never did that before. It’s all over the place. Had 25-30 inches yesterday for eastern areas lol...then jumped East 200 miles the next run....that’s more my point.

Precip is blossoming and rotating in from the SE off the ocean over and SE of LI...let’s get that in here; looks to be heading right this way.

I’m not impressed with that thing since it’s upgrade a couple years back.. in fact it’s sucked and shat the bed more than ever since it’s supposed upgrade. They ruined it.

Was just gonna say probably picked up another half inch from yesterday’s part...so at 2”, but you beat me to it. Ya the temp never broke above freezing For us...that wasn’t supposed to happen. It happened to our East and northeast, and to the S, SE and SW to a lot of folks though.

You’re right. I was out driving last night at about 10, everything was coated in a fairly thick coating of ice..roads were thick slush..and it was a freezing mist at 31 degrees..temps didn’t budge all night..trees still frozen in the morning, and then this snow has moved in.

Yes it does. I didn’t expect this light snow at all this morning either. NBC 30 last night said a lull for us for most all day until “possibly” late in the afternoon...so this surprised/is surprising. And our temps stayed cold..32 degrees too. No rain here.

Quite dose of ice last night..trees and PL were very iced up, after about 1.5 inches of snow/sleet. Temp never went up here...we were just under or at the freezing mark all night. Been snowing for a while this morning..light of course but coated up the iced up trees and landscapes..at least it looks nice.

I had 9 inches on 11/15/18. That was a great SWFE for SNE. This is a dud here for sure, and compared to that, this is a nothing burger. But the rest of the winter last year wasn’t too good. So maybe this year we do better than last?

As I said a couple days ago...anytime you’re waiting/depending on a capture, that’s a very dangerous thing to depend on. It doesn’t workout for most, most times.

Lol some of the biggest parachutes I’ve seen in years here..and cold too! It’s gorgeous. Truck was reading 25 degrees.
