Good luck and Happy Belated Birthday!
Thanks. Appreciate it. 3k was better. Puts us in 4-6" range. Significant tick up from op. After recent winters I've become a pessimist lol.

Amazing how quickly this thing falls apart once it's in OH.
Yeah. Weakens then gets shredded. Where we are, hoping it overperforms, won't be surprised if it underperforms though with every model tearing it to shreds fairly quickly once it reaches central Ohio. Can only hope for the best lol.

Looking for a slight north trend but not seeing it. I think I'm going to be too far NE to get into the good stuff. Buckeye and the rest of you south and west of me have a good chance of seeing a decent thumping.
Yep. You, Steve and myself all looking at 2-3" per most models. Nothing really to write home about. Hopefully it holds together a little longer to get us in some good stuff, but at this point I'd say 2-3, anything extra is just a bonus. Columbus and points west I'd guess up to 6"

Guess I'm the only one not excited. Hard to get excited about 1-3" of snow. Unless you live in Southwest Ohio this looks to be a dud. Hope not, but that's the way it looks to me as of now. 0z nam gives a 2" across most of central Ohio.

Well this is just horrible. You know winter is bad when you can't even get a fantasy storm. GEM had one at 12z yesterday, but it was gone by 0z. It's actually becoming quite incredible. Almost as if there has been an atmospheric shift over Ohio. Relatively no winter for 4 years outside of a couple 4-5" storms. Can't ever remember a drought like this..

We've never had shortages of bones being thrown at us.....we get boned all the time by the models. Our problem is getting one with some actual meat.
Yeah, just sickening having this track before Christmas and it being all rain. Winter has essentially died here for a good while now. Occasional 3-5" but even that's becoming a rarity.

12z Euro has a disturbance move through on the 23rd dropping 1-2" of snow NW of I-71 in Ohio. White Christmas might still be possible to pull off.
I see the 0z Canadian throws us a Christmas Eve bone. 2-4" of snow. One can hope.

You can always go a few miles east to chase it, somewhere its going to be awesome.
Well I have to get a hotel, so I'd like the hotel to be in the sweet spot. 25 miles could be the difference in 12" or 30" seems like Hartford or Worcester would be a pretty safe bet.

Over where ? SNE this thing is not going OTS, When Harvey Leonard says "lock for top 10 snow storm" you make the trip ORH or BOS
To Worcester. And I don't know who that is. Obviously being from Ohio I typically don't follow weather there unless it is something major.

Was supposed to drive over there from Ohio to view this thing. Starting to wonder if it's a good thing I didnt. The GFS last night concerned me even with the error it had. But these east shifts are making me glad I didn't travel that way yet. Was gonna leave at 6am. Maybe the euro will leave hope but as difficult as this forecast is becoming it may be too much risk to drive 10hrs. Still will be significant but not like 13' if these shifts keep happening. Good luck to you all though. I know I had a blast chasing the one in 2013 just not sure if this one will be worth the 10 hour trip. Hope it comes to fruition for you all.
