Wasn’t the mayor Daley blizzard in early February of 1969? I was 10 years old and lived in Wethersfield Ct and remember it as being more impressive than the blizzard of 78, I know the 78 blizzard was huge east of the Connecticut River but in Wethersfield while impressive it wasn’t as impressive as February 1969

Still a lot of Oak leaves to come down and the Japanese maple still has plenty of brilliant red leaves,

Elevation was everything, here on the Barkhamsted East Hartland line we ended up with about 25” and 12 minutes down the road in Granby Center it was about 11” it actually looked like a tornado had gone through the Southwick MA Granby Simsbury CT area with the amount of snapped telephone poles and downed trees and power lines, not even a twig came down at my place

If anyone is up there is a remarkable meteor display in the eastern sky 

The most exciting thing that’s happened all summer on Myrtle beach, happened about 40 minutes ago, would this be from Beta?

Non event here in Murrells Inlet SC a few hrs of wind and rain, got a few gusts over 60 as the eye passed by

Streets look wet but slippery in spots

36° and light/moderate snow,

streets wet, ground dusted in the last half hour

A couple of brief squalls passing through, light dusting & 28° 

29° a little burst of light snow adding to the dusting on top of an inch of cement like snow sleet and ice

30° and light snow, already a dusting, can see the moon through the clouds

just had a couple good rumbles of thunder

31° and very light sleet now, 0.25 of snow and about 0.30 of ice, The sleet is so fine when the wind picks up it blows around like snow

28° and about 70% snow/ice cover,

about 1.5”  of glacier 

27°  Sun is back out, 1.20” snow In less than half an hour

28° with moderate Snow and fog

29° Snow started 10 minutes ago, already a dusting
