Had an inch of snow Tuesday night about 2 inches early Friday morning and now 4 inches, where was this in December? Pretty interesting winter. I was in Hartland from Thanksgiving through the first week of March, disappointed that there were no big Nor’easter’s but at least it wasn’t an endless run of 45° and partly cloudy.

Yep that is snow blowing off the roof, I couldn’t figure out how to load the video. Snow has stopped NE wind and 32° total snowfall 4 inches

E Hartland earlier this morning, didn’t get a measurement but eyeballing it from this grab from a video looks like 3 1/2 maybe 4 inches

Got a message that rain has switched to snow in Barkhamsted and Hartland in the last half hour, 33°

Got this photo from E Hartland this morning as I was walking on the beach in Little River SC lol, picked up almost 2 inches after midnight.

53° and sunny a little over an hour ago in Southwick and 36° with a snow squall in East Hartland now, bare spots starting to show on top of the hill in East Hartland/Barkhamsted, down in Southwick/Granby mostly snow free except for shaded areas.

31° and freezing drizzle, 4.5” of snow sleet and freezing rain.

29° and freezing drizzle, measured 3 inches of snow at 3 AM and just measured 2 inches of snow and ice now, had considerable icing after 3 AM

28° and steady light snow in East Hartland, about an eighth of an inch of snow so far

24° and steady light snow has started again, got a coating of ice sometime after 3 AM

22° and steady light snow, 3” since 9pm

26° 1.10” Snow with a bit of ice on top, precip mostly over except for some freezing mist

was a senior in high school during the blizzard of 78 and they let us out at noon time, had three good size rocks in the trunk of my 68 Malibu coup and along with the snow tires that was the equivalent of all wheel drive then lol. I lived in Wethersfield and it was pretty impressive but not like the eastern part of CT

temperature has  dropped 5° in 20 minutes, rain has switched to snow 35°

pretty impressive, I don’t know if I’ll ever see that again.

A friend sent me this from North Myrtle Beach SC 29° down there as of 11am and they got 5 inches of snow with a little crust of ice on top of it, everything is shut down, they have no way to deal with it and it’s not going anywhere for a couple of days.
