Is this weekend a true rain maker? It looks like a crapload of precipitation (which we need).
-
That's the one. Although for a lot of people it has you projecting out of both ends with equal force at the same time.
-
Get well soon @Bubbler86. Tons of viruses kicking around, although I think the horrible norovirus phase that hit PA is starting to ebb.
-
Congrats to all the eagles fans
-
Oh yea we’ll get nice snow I think (although accumulating will suffer since it’s so prolonged) but MD gets some 12”+ stuff.
-
A Maryland special, this’ll be. Jealous (again) of them.
-
That sucks. It’s a gorgeous day down here. 41, wind has died off. Fleece weather*. *unless you are @Itstrainingtime
-
Sun is murdering this sleet. Wow
-
1-3” is my first guess for #1
-
The old inherited metal coal shovel was needed for this stuff this morning. Be careful out there - it’s heart attack slop.
-
I’m dreading it. The sleet wall the plow made looks evil.
-
Sunday loosened. Winds into the 30s. CTP forecast is for less than .5” now for MDT Tuesday.
-
1.5” sleet. Seems like that might be it for sleet but there is a one more slug way out west, not sure it makes it here and isn’t freezing rain.
-
It just started sleeting harder than anytime before. It’s absolutely pouring. Edit: that was short lived.
-
CTP had upped the freezing rain forecast for Harrisburg. Up to .3”.

We weee in NYC during that 2nd stork in February 2010 storm. We went to dinner at Craft on 19th St and sat and watched it just pile up. We then walked up the middle of 6th avenue to our hotel at Bryant Park. One of my fav memories.
-
Sleet has restarted and looks like it’ll last a while.
-
.9” sleet so far
-
I don’t believe you - if you live by the airport. They’ve reported sleet or zr for 2 hours straight.
-
Not at all. We needed to stop the S slide tonight. Maybe we have!
-
This is what the models have predicted for the the storm, minus a few random RGEM runs that has 1” snow to start.
-
Boy if I were still in college I’d rush over. Already have nearly much sleet as I did the other day.
-
Everything is covered - even the pre treated road. Glad we canceled our dinner plans.
-
Mod to heavy sleet now - that was quick
-
Precip has began - mostly sleet here but there is some zr in it
