  1. He only drinks that light junk now, that's not worth the footsteps to me.
  2. The river I don’t think I’ve ever seen this low. There are rocks visible I’ve never noticed - you can walk across and be waist deep at most.
  3. What a colossal failure. I count 18 water drops in our windshield.
  4. Late nooners - 46, breezy out of the east and pretty raw out. It’s great!
  5. We should take a collective approach this winter to see if that area gets more snow than others on storms that go from snow to ice to rain or vis versa. Would be interesting to track.
  6. My gut says MDT ends with less than 8” snow this season. Lack of precip and no prolonged cold air.
  7. First freeze for me this year - bottomed out at 29.
  8. Getting older sucks. It’s not the body aches and physical aging but losing friends. I lost one of my bests tonight. Don’t feel too embarrassed to tell friend you love them.
  9. Back home. Think the furnace will have to come on tomorrow- not needing it until November 12 is wild.
  10. 50 was the low back home. Looks like 52 was the low here in Boston.
  11. My stats are akin to a drunk sailor’s navigation plan in a hurricane in 1782.
  12. My gauge at home registered no rain. Something must be broken with it. Grr
  13. Staying at the Newbury Hotel. Two of those pics wet from the Street Bar here. The other was from Prairie Fire in Brooklyn. Fly home later this am boo
  14. My home gauge had registers no precip but it usually needs .02 or more to do so. Meanwhile here in Boston it is 54. A perfect day.
  15. Pretty cold here in Boston but we survived with a seafood dinner and alcohol
  16. 45 was the low back home. 43 here in Boston. Feels like home here - winds blowing 30 mph
  17. I believe the fire on the mountain in Linglestown is still burning
  18. Good morning from Boston. 53 and windy here - but our room view is great. Bumpy flight coming in this am.
  19. Per CTP: Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) has received only 0.02" of rain since October 2nd. That's the driest 36-day stretch since records began in 1888.
  20. Ha! I really should have turned it back on but I got lazy and then it got nice but the last three days really ramped up the heat. We leave for Boston tomorrow early so it's fine I guess for one more night .....
