    Our hyacinth are all fully blooming. A month or so early. Is normally w afraid of a hard freeze but we aren’t getting another one it appears.

    Part of this being a littke late is PA school districts are so incredibly f’d up the Dept of Ed has zero control over them. Literally, they can’t tell a district to do anything and the district doesn’t have to tell the dept if they’re closed. It’s INSANE.

    Had tickets to 3 Broadway shies this weekend. It’s been painful getting our hotel, train and those tickets refunded/changed. But this is what happens when you have an inept administration pretending a virus isn’t circulating.

    We have worse luck with those than 10 day digital snowstorms.

    Harrisburg has saved a TON of money this year - they haven't had to use a plow or a grain of salt on the streets the entire season. It's remarkable.

    Denton is coated in snow. Every paved surface.

    Sister lives on a lake outside Longview - hopefully they don't have any issues.

    I’m in town next week, Tuesday through Sunday. I hope I can eat my Shivers quickly so it doesn’t immediately melt.

    We were in Alaska in late May and it hit mid 70s every day essentially, and was bone dry. They were terrified of fires and they've already had many. Will be a long, rough summer for the NW which is incredibly dry and hot.

    I’ll be back in Longview (East Texas) August 14-18. Haven’t been home in August since 2009. Curious if I’ll be 101+ on more that one day!

    I’m totally on mobile and shitty East Texas internet speeds but are the storms still going to come through Saturday morning? I think those end up playing a role in how quick the energy can kick out.

    Had large almost tennis ball sized hail at my parents last night just NE of Longview.
