    The slowing trend is disheartening because it makes sense, and we know holding on to cold will be tough so any delay means a pretty big difference between snow vs nothing. Lots of time. however.

    Looks like a big temp drop back to normal Thursday, isn't that a bit ahead of where it had been forecast?

    That equal line at 3:30 am was something else. Now my neighbor’s siding is all coming off and there house is 4’ from mike so it’s banging against mine. I f’n HATE wind.

    CTP has canceled the wind warnings, now just advisories, and dropped max gusts to mid 30s in the forecast but raised them to 50 in the advisory (higher than what the wind warning had listed). WTF? I absolutely give up lol. strong south winds are a but rare here really

    The Tuesday winds were almost identical to forecast gusts, and higher sustained. I’ll never understand.

    So as far as NE Texas into Dallas this was an absolute bust. Schools cancelled events Friday because the forecast and most the region had run-of-the-mill spring-like storms. My question for those much smarter than me: Why? Parameters were ideal.

    In East Texas the schools are all canceling basketball games or moving them up to earlier today. I don't recall ever seeing that for anything other than snow/ice.

    My family is very close to Longview, should be an interesting day.
