  1. Shorts and a LL Bean fleece for me but the fleece came off abut 15 minutes in to a lightweight long sleeve T.
  2. Speaking of heat - 56 and sunny at 1:45 pm on January 28.
  3. Rochester - ROCHESTER - has only a trace in January and 9” all season. Like I posted a bit ago, where the hell is the snow? It’s probably because the mid Atlantic and NE are warming faster than any other region on earth. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2022/12/new-england-less-snow-warmer-winter-climate-change/672480/
  4. Gizmodo asks what the entire East Coast asks - where the bell is the snow? https://gizmodo.com/no-snow-in-new-york-on-pace-for-record-northeast-1850040693
  5. He wasn’t buying Boilo so I knew it wasn’t you.
  6. I saw @Voyager’s doppelgänger tonight buying wine in Lemoyne. I had to do a triple take.
  7. Not much wind here either. Weird but thankful. I’ll say I got 3” yesterday since that’s what MDT got. That puts me at 6.5” for the season.
  8. I def live in a wind tunnel when it’s from the W/NW. if it’s east or south, it’s usually not as strong as others. Hope I don’t lose more shingles tomorrow.
  9. I’d doubt it save maybe a ridge top. I’m guessing most guys will be maxing around 40. But it’ll be windy af all day.
  10. If there is an ice storm, you always want to be in Paducah, Kentucky. That place attracts ice storms like stadium lights attracts mayflies.
  11. 3” sound right - i eyeballed 2” on the sidewalk by my building at noon and we had a few more decent bands after that.
  12. Screw moderate rain in January. Especially after it snows all morning.
  13. Blowing snow tomorrow in the strong winds unless the overnight rain really hammers it.
  14. I assumed main roads would be ok with extremely marginal temps but that first push of snow was so heavy it overwrote that issue.
  15. It flipped back to mostly all snow after than 5 or whatever mins of sleet. Of course the sketch what’s the timing when I walked to lunch lol - guessing 2” or so.
  16. Ya, I mean to tag you and not do that quote. Oops! I saw CH closed. Think I'm headed there for lunch today (downtown, that is)
  17. Flakey lol - pretty moderate in size, if not a tad on the smaller end. Roads caved already.
