  1. Avg here is 09/28 so quite sure for many further south its an October avg anyways.
  2. Looking like one day as well next week up here in the 70's outside of Sunday and that would be on Wednesday.

Looking ahead to next week, Warm front looks to struggle to get here, We may tickle a day or two in the 70's , But that looks about it. ...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 8 AM EDT SATURDAY... The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 8 AM EDT Saturday. * Temperatures...Near 30. * Timing...Overnight Friday night into Saturday morning. * Impacts...Freezing conditions will kill sensitive vegetation. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

  6. They haven't seen a freeze yet up there? Northern Maine has a couple weeks back.

  9. Everyone likes weather, That's why wer'e all here, Just some have a preference for what type and post accordingly.
  10. Some don't have a life outside this board it seems, Summer weather is quite boring outside of some severe on occasions that we see little of, Fall and winter weather is where it is at and even into spring for myself anyways.
  11. We just go by the solstice now i guess, So its either summer or winter.
  12. In that case, I'm going to go out and let the trees and the Canadian Geese i have been seeing heading south know (earlier this year then in the past) that its still summer and they should head back north and the trees should hold up on the color change.
  13. Its fall, Summer is over, (see calendar) Some have to let it go, It will be back next year.

  15. I really like the area for riding, Lots of open area to the east to rack up the mileage, I do most of my riding in the NW parts as you get the best of both worlds with the higher elevation.

  17. That's a bit surprising, Northern Maine had some extremes with low in the teens in that time frame, But i don't know if they were records or not without looking.
