  1. It was -4°F when i left Eustis this morning, They would be extremely fast early today as the were yesterday, We left to go ride early yesterday and it was single digits and trails were flat/fast, Took my sled up to 100mph on Mooselook Meguntic yesterday.
  2. Is your eyesight bad? You should be using a level and a plumb bob too.
  3. Depends on the amount of traffic on the trails, Weekends there is a lot and by the afternoon, The trails are beat up, We rode back country on Saturday so there was not to many sleds as they stay on the trails, I try going up on the weekdays when there is less traffic and on fresh groomed trails, But the suspension in these sleds make riding good even on wash board trails late in the day.
  4. Yes, Got gas there, It’s an old store, Lot around here that’ are throwbacks.
  5. Trails are flat fast and freshly groomed, Went to the top of Coburn Mtn, 1/16 mil vis, Now eating lunch at the Hawks Nest in the Forks.
  6. We’re heading to Coburn Mtn then Hawks Nest over to 15 mile stream then the Forks tomorrow then pick our way from there.
  7. Snow squalls once we hit Kingfield pretty slick travel from there to here, Now it’s beverage time and Prime Rib at Trails End Steakhouse Eustis, Best around.

  11. Heading to NW Maine today for the next 3 days of sledding fun, So guard the LR and clown maps until i get back, I bet they still show nothing until at least mid month.
  12. Looks like were going to go half way thru Feb before we get another shot at some snow besides some squalls this weekend for some areas.
  13. Once the snow goggles are in place, They're tough to pry off..........lol
  14. I laid low in that thread, But was following along and yes, Some were really trying to convince themselves it was going to be a siggy event with 2 rounds of precip, Problem is and was, Mid level temps were so borderline on the first round that 1c in any direction had big implications even with good rates unless you had some elevation and the bulk of the heavy precip was there, Nam had a warm nose and usually you have to respect it when it shows up, I had expected 2-4" and ended up just above that @4.8".
  15. I think it ranks above clown maps if that's even possible, I think a record was set on this last event with them.............
