Nothing here. Let's keep it that way. Certainly is sticky.

How's your injury coming along? You must be dying to get out. Could have used you today only a threesome.

Why are there flood watches? At most a few towns get 1-2”. Seems way overdone . Some towns get no rain
There is considerable uncertainty with respect to which locations will experience the heaviest rainfall

I’ll probably be a little too far north for the rain again. Hopefully we luck out with something decent. My soil moisture sensor is now the driest it’s ever been…88cb for those who know how those Watermark sensors work.
Water table still pretty high around me even with just .85 rain this month. Trails are still flooded in spots. Used to be the dry up in May.

I mean I’m not even talking about Synoptics or even anyone on here… just that local METS are now forced to pimp “relief” as mid-60s lows.
Normal mins right now are 64F at BDL and 62F at ORH.
This new climate regime makes something approaching “normal” summer weather like it's some cool crisp Canadian airmass.
Disagree. He didn't say it was going to be cold. He said it was going to be a relief from nightly lows in the '70s. Seems to me to be the definition of relief.

It’s tough when we are celebrating lows in the mid-60s, to be honest.
Climo or below for July. Not going to be in the '30s.

PVD last I checked also seemed to run cool. I know I brought it up during winter.
Is there any station you feel is accurate besides your own?

This is pretty much peak climo for the heat....now through like the 23rd.
I feel kind of bad for those wanting a hot summer. Just two years ago Boston had 9 days of 90 or above in July. It even hit a hundred. This year none! With the extended looking colder by the minute that ain't happening this year.

One thing you can't complain about this summer is air quality. Think we've had maybe one alert.

Lyndonville was one of the Vermont communities hit hard by flooding, and a search for a driver who was swept away in high water was underway at noontime.
Our Adam Sullivan said a search was underway at noontime for an elderly man who police say drove through high water on Center Street and was swept away. Crews are searching for him by boat and drone.
The National Weather Service says the area got three to four inches of rain in town. Route 5 in town was left underwater.

That looks like broad Street. I hope the Bagel Depot didn't get flooded. I love that place.
