He has 45-60 here south and east. He’s good
BOX has nothing and will be forced to issue warnings during the event .
Midday computer guidance shows increasing winds tonight. Not expecting major issues locally but gusts to 45 mph possible in the Hartford area and 55 mph around New Haven. Enough for scattered tree and powerline issues. RH

Your rookies at BOX likely caught playing catch-up with pants down as damage reports come in overnight ORH west to HFD
That's your local forecaster Ryan.

Lots of damage there about HFD east
Strange to see some people on Twitter act like this is a monster storm locally... when you pull up the model data and soundings it looks like a fairly run-of-the-mill nor'easter

I don't know Ken. What I see is a deepening retrograding crazy deep storm. Always trouble with retro storms coming in at that angle. Think this is a big deal. Could be wrong but double red rectangle flags hoisted
Agreed it looks like a beauty! Not seeing 60 mph winds in Hartford however.

Looking absolutely juiced on IR. Shame this isn't February, or we'd be drooling over absurd kuchera maps and blizzard warnings. Should be a show regardless.
Right?!!

Cannot wait for the WTF posts tomorrow in areas where folks are expecting 10-20 mph zephyrs tomorrow .. as limbs and lines snap on them . The trolling will be the best we’ve ever seen
You'll wait. Just like last time.

I’m staying cautious here and thinking 50-55 ish. I’ve lived here long enough to know how this area performs in anomalous events like this. I could see you up to ORH rip a few into the low , maybe mid 60’s
Always time to revise upwards if need be.

Shave it back some as usual and you get our 30-40mph inland gusts forecast. Widespread 50-60mph as far back to Newburgh ain’t happening.
Same folks were calling for 60 MPH gusts out by the river for Henri lolz. BDL might have gusted to 30 at best.

Round of heavy rain coming through Pit2 the last 90 minutes.
At least it hasn't been warm up here like in SNE.
I hope the rain made it to lava Rock.

Beer? You did notice there were two pictures right?
First picture was from 2 weeks ago second was from today. If you weren't drunk you might have noticed there was some wood missing as well.
