    Hope everyone is enjoying this! I believe we are around 4-5" in Hollywood. Impossible to measure as others have noted. Base is opening at 11 but no way roads will be any better by then. Looking at the traffic cameras, 235 looks pretty sketchy.

    Really pulling for you guys over on the Eastern Shore. As we all know these are rare events where this sub-forum cashes in. The main thread is so painful to read with all of the whining, complaining, and wishcasting lol.

    I'd estimate around an inch or 2 on non-paved surfaces after onset yesterday. Appeared to have some melting over night. Steady light snow now.

    WSW says 3-6" and we've blown past that down here.

    What's everyones guess on totals down here before the changeover? Already 7+ in St Mary's and many more hrs to go. Only updated forecast amount I've seen so far if Channel 4 at 6-10".

    What are your thoughts on the system on Thursday? NWS has us in St. Mary's in the 30-40% range. Looks like we are on the northern edge..

    Yes hoping the Eastern Shore gets in on some good action but very concerned about power outages.

    Someone is going to bust bad. I don't know what all the TV stations are saying but Channel 9 has Calvert and St. Mary's in the 3-6" zone and NWS is saying 18-24" in the Blizzard Watch(snow map has a little less). Seems as though Channel 9 is hedging their bets lots of rain and sleet down here.

    Looking forward to obs from everyone in the sub-forum since we will most likely be dealing with some mixing. Wish there were more posters in St. Mary's. Weather in this county alone can vary greatly from north to south!

    Hard to take the 30"+ seriously down here with there being a decent chance of mixing. Unless we don't?!?!
