  1. On the GFS for the weekend, what is preventing that thing from coming farther north? .
  2. Back to all snow in NW Cumberland. We take that! How many other times does that ever happen? Seems like once you see sleet you don’t go back the other way but today we have!
  3. Thanks, and Yup, explains it. Tucked into the Doubling Gap area there in extreme NW Cumberland county, we started mixing with sleet about 30mins ago. Guess the NAM was on to it, the only model that got the mixing up and past me. Bummer as many models were showing me at 12”+ easily. Had 7” prior changeover.
  4. Who’s got a good current look at radar with correlation coefficient? .
  5. 100% this right here. All in the timing/phase, which also allows the flow overtop the MA to relax some with the delay to help it North. .
  6. So we just don’t get the H.A. event this time? .
  7. Have an inch here in western Cumberland. Pounding snow all roads covered. Beautiful scenes. 26 degrees right now. Hoping next weeks storm doesn’t leave us in the western areas out. Some models giving like 6-10 when 50 miles east is seeing 20+. Just need some tuck tight to the coast and we all can win. .
  8. This will end up being a one model cycle pump fake……write it down. Too much timing that has to go right to make this a forum wide KU. Kicker that pumps the ridge, northern and southern steam phasing, charged up low coming out of the northern stream, etc. Fun while it lasted though. .
  9. Heaviest snow I’ve seen in years. Just finished about an hour outside with my daughter sledding. Getting smoked and just hit 5.5” here. .
  10. How long this lasting? Seems like west extent collapsing in? .
  11. I might be experiencing something totally different than most reading the thread. Been getting raked since around 10:30am. Over 3 inches. Northwest Cumberland county here about 5 miles due west of Newville in Doubling Gap. Easy stickage on everything including roads. Wind picking up now too. .
  12. Looks just like the ABC27 snowfall forecast. .
