For me this storm and 1996 are the only ones that really were 'blizzards' for my area, caused 1-2+ day disruption of travel/business, and was utterly impressed with. Ill give the nod to 1996 still but this was REALLY close.

I pick this storm over 1996 only because I'm older now and still experiencing it but in fact 1996 is the only other storm I'll remember well besides walking around during 2006
